Gobblin' til we're Wobblin'

WHAT A WEEK! With 15 people in and out of our home for the holiday- I definitely had my hands full! My sweet nieces and nephews that I just don't get to see enough came and brightened out home with their sweet faces! LOVE YOU Boden, Dixie, Timber, Easton, Juliea and Darin!

We even got to see Uncle Steve (my big brother) who still hadn't met Brody until Thanksgiving day! It was so good to see him! Geez- when did my brother get so good looking?

We finally got to spend a little bit of time with Richard and Ashley and their sweet babies Parker and Collett. We can't ever get enough of you guys!

Curto strikin' a pose! He was feeling a little bit slap happy and running on like 3 hrs of sleep. On Turkey day he was either acting like a crazy or passed out on the living room couch with a blanket over his face. Gotta love the guy! Ha.

Grandma and Grandpa Hill spoiled B just the way he likes! We couldn't ask for better grandparents! *you too gma and gpa Perry :)*

All in all it was a great week. I'm not going to lie Thanksgiving day wasn't my favorite. For some reason it just didn't feel like Thanksgiving. I think there was a little TOOO much football watching. But that's okay I've learned my lesson! Next year I'll have family bonding fun time scheduled so we don't all hit the turkey sleepy time brick wall. You live, you learn right!?

Baby Feet....

Make me happy.

Hill Family PRE B-Day bAsH

G-ma Hill called before they made the trip and asked if we could do a little family b-day party for B. We're always up for a good time so of course we said, "WHY NOT!?"

Julie, Sonia and I had stayed up until almost 2 am the night before making cake and chit chatting. You know...the way girls do :)

Some random highlights of the night:
Brody shakin' it to Beyonce.
B sportin' his new sunglasses.
The little man overcoming his fear of balloons.
Uncle Scotty not being able to stay out of the center of the signs circle.
Bro having no clue what to do with his presents.
Signing Austins Afghanistan soccer ball and wishing he was there with us!
Julie being sooooo transparent and adorabley OBVIOUS!
Watching G-pa laugh and be goofy with all of us!
A *sick* daddy finding the gusto to laugh and have a wonderful time.
(inside joke...you probably figured ;)

It was super simple and super fabulous. We ended the night with a hilarious game of signs and lots of laughs.

Even though his real birthdays isn't until a week from tomorrow, this party threw me into a spiral of emotions! I can't believe what is happening in our little lives. HOW DOES TIME GO BY SO FAST? How do babies GRRROOOOWWWW in the blink of an eye? I just want to cherish every single moment and never forget any of it!

Sweet 16...

Happy Birthday Sinclair BABAY!!

We love you OH SO MUCH!!

On a QuIeT SuNdAy afternoon you can find us...

BUILDING FORTS!
Our Sunday afternoons can be a bit slow due to our dadd
y/hubs (the life of the party) usually catching up on much needed rest before our weekly dinner with the whole family. With fortresses on the mind I decided to introduce B to the world of ...DUM dum Deee DUUMMMM.....FORT BUILDING! He loved it. The first thing he wanted to do, of course, is read inside of his masterpiece! I tell you, I've got a future scholar on my hands. As long as he starts out at BYU-I I'm down! Just kidding ;)

A great Idea for FHE, Youth Activity, Primary Activity Ect!

"A Mighty Fortress"
This year for YWIE we decided to do something a little different. We were all pretty anxious about the whole thing but it ended up PERFECT. All we told the girls to do was to come in their comfy clothes- even PJ's if they wanted and to bring light sheets and blankets. We had them set up their traditional displays of what they had been working on for Personal Progress of course, but that's about the only thing "traditional" about this years program.

We had the girls along with their parents and leaders (bishop ect ect) come together and build a "mighty fortress". Then when they finished (it turned out AWESOME) we had our program inside the fort! The other leaders and I gave talks on the history of fortresses in medieval times, the church history of forts, fortress' in the Book of Mormon, and finally on building our own beautiful fortress (our life) and BUILDING IT RIGHT. As an architect has specific need for specific aspects of any structure for it to stand strong, so does the building an designing of our lives. Each little board that builds our fortress (parents, leaders, friends ect) serves a specific function in reaching an ultimate goal of returning to live with our Father in Heaven.
One of our amazing girls planted a garden! How cute are they.

Brooks made these absolutely DIVINE "smore" cupcakes. All I can say is I wanted s'more...and s'more....until....yeah. It was bad. But oh so good! :)

Things got a little crazy toward the end. Oops!

KNUFFLE BUNNY!!!!

Never before have I seen my little bombino get SO ecstatic about a book... over and over again. Oh my goodness, he absolutely adores this story! He knows PRECISELY what "Knuffle Bunny" means and if you mention it in the middle of any fit or difficult moment, HE'S IN and giggling with excitement. Needless to say, I think he'll be getting his very own stuffed Knuffle for Christmas this year. :)
